A moment of fortuitous intuition on the part of three entrepreneurs, Fabio and Chiara Murzi and Marco Turoni combined with a love of their native island, and sixteen years later the result is a vibrant line of perfumes inspired by the fragrances of the Island of Elba, in addition to a wide range of products and a series of single-brand boutiques, all attired in shades of blue.

Everything started in 2000 in a small workshop with an adjoining sales outlet. There are now 27 single-brand shops, 19 on the island and two in Florence, one in Rome as well as Sienna, Venice, Como, and Lucca. You will also find the products in 550 perfumeries located all over Italy as well as at the online store.

Eau de Parfum BLU DONNA

This is a brand that is most certainly Made in Tuscany. It is inspired by the fragrances of the area and created by the three sea-loving partners from Elba, using only the finest natural ingredients and using traditional production techniques – a true expression of artisan craftsmanship and the cult for all that is beautiful and natural. Thus the key to success has been this marriage of quality materials, knowledge and skilled craftsmanship.

The idea came to the founders while sailing around the island, inspired by its natural beauty and the surrounding sea. And from the idea came the project to take the essence of the sea to all parts of Italy and the on to wider world. Entering an Acqua dell’Elba boutique is to be embraced by a wave of emotions, an inebriating synthesis of the sea green of the furnishing and the wonderful fragrances, scented candles and bathing products as well as fabrics and travel accessories.

Laboratorio

In the first shop at Marciana Marina it is possible to see the manual packaging of the products through a small window. The workshop is also located in Marciana. It is inspired by the Tuscan tradition of small artisan perfumery workshops that dates back to the renaissance.

Acqua di Elba is yet another message of Italian excellence – a symbol of the joy of living and a business project that seeks to exalt the local environment.
