To be seated at a table enjoying a meal is one of the oldest pleasures known to us. But if that table is under a sky of Michelin stars then the tradition becomes magical.

23 May 2016 - Edgar Filatov

The first Michelin guide was produced in 1900 by Édouard and André Michelin. It was a simple publication for the few French motorists of that time, a far cry from today’s guide which is one of the most consulted in the world. Michelin stars are considered to be the most important recognition of a restaurant. The stars, which are shown as a flower with six petals, range from a minimum of one to a maximum of three. 334 Italian restaurants have been honoured in the 2016 guide and we would like to introduce you to the top five in Emilia Romagna.
